He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion T. Kissinger and Lois Jacqueline Kissinger; and his grandparents, Jim and Pearl Howard. He is survived by: his wife Nita Kissinger; his stepson Scott Horton (Lexanne); his grandchildren, Jacob (Kayla) and Victoria; his great grandchildren, Hudson and Haevyn; and his siblings-in-law, Alyce, Ronnie Tevis, Margaret and John Barnhart. He is also survived by his family, church family, and friends.

The family requested in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Building Fund or the In Touch Ministry Fund at West Conroe Baptist Church.
