He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Joseph and Bonnie Beulah Harris Henderson; his siblings, Thomas Gene Henderson, Naomi Downer, Sue Pippin and Norma Lopez-Smith; and his son John David Henderson.

He is survived by: his wife Victoria Lynn Henderson; his children, Donald Roy [Debbie] Henderson, Joseph Michael [Linda] Henderson and Wanda Lynn Henderson Pinson; his brother Glenn Allen Henderson; his grandchildren, Dustin Henderson, DJ Henderson, Ashley Drexler, Brandon Bohl, Lauren Henderson, Alexis Henderson, Amanda Pinson and Aiden Kriley; his great grandchildren, Malikai, Madison, Mia, Hunter and Braxton; and his daughter-in-law Wanda Lynn Henderson PinsonDaughter. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
