She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Holden and Jeanette Holden; her father-in-law Onith Davis; and her sisters, Laura, Maryann and Christine Lightell (Irvin Lightell).

She is survived by: her husband Barry Davis; her children, Benjamin Curtis Smith III (Vanessa Smith), Shanda Cason (Corey Cason) and Duane Smith (Vivian Smith); her stepdaughter India Porter; her grandchildren, Diavione, Destyni, Hayley, Marlin, Corie, Cyra, Caryiah, Cyla, Tyler, Justice and Duane Jr.; her siblings, Shelia Ernest, Spencer Rocque (late Cheryl Rocque), Jerome Rocque, Melissa Holden Adams, Karen Holden Vine and Malinda Holden Sylvas (Robin Sylvas); and her mother-in-law Claudia Davis. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and countless friends.
