Doris Jean King Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Doris Jean King of Conroe, Texas. Doris, born on December 11, 1930 in Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away on October 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Fain and Ora Fain; her significant other C. L. King; and her siblings, Robert Fain, Kenneth Fain, George Fain, Gary Fain, Carlene Matthews and Wanda Glover.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Shirey (Joe), Butch Stidham (Susan), Sharon Kingston (Randy) and Greg King (Hope); and her sisters, Joyce Chamber, Ina Schultea and Carol Thompson. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the South Park Funeral Home Willow Oaks Chapel (1310 N Main St, Pearland, TX 77581). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
