It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Michael Gurney Jr. of Conroe, Texas, born in Bremond, Texas, who passed away on October 5, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Thomas Gurney and Julia Ann Gurney; and his siblings, Leonard Louis Gurney and Catherine Gurney. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Jane Gurney; his daughters, Lisa Jane Kees (Coby), Julia Jane Gurney and Dena Dolores Harrison; his grandchildren, Natalie Jane Kees, Tyler Coby Kees, Paige Leah Kees, Fransisco Havier Romo and Jace Michael Harrison; and his siblings, Barbara Rawlins (Ray), Richard Gurney (Leslie), Frances McCain, Marti Hastings (Rob) and Patricia Gurney. He is also survived by uncle, and numerous aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
