It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Michael Mihalik of Conroe, Texas, who passed away on May 15, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Mihalik and Mary Glotz Mihalik; his wife Diane Laidman; his daughters, Tracey Mathews (Stephen), Tina Paez (Eddie) and Lisa Franks (Chris); his grandchildren, Kyle O'Bryan (Payton), Austin Mathews (Reagan), Kourtney O'Bryan, Faith Sanchez (Daniel), Meghan Franks, Johnny Paez, Sam Mathews (Sarah), Emily Mathews and Monica Franks; his great grandchildren, Emarie O'Bryan, Lydia O'Bryan, Preston O'Bryan, Kingston O'Bryan and Meredith O'Bryan; his friend Joe Medricka; and also, Sanford, Bertha Laidman, Judith Lalak (John), Beverly Augusta (Frank), Gary Laidman (Beth Ann) and Ken Laidman (Cindy). He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Prince of Peace Catholic Community (19222 TX-249, Houston, TX 77070). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
