She was predeceased by : her parents, William Lester (Hazel Pogue) and Hazel Pogue; her husband James L. Beeson; her siblings, Barbara Golden, Louis Pogue, Jackie Pogue, Ted Pogue and Bobby Pogue; and her granddaughter Ashley Doring.

She is survived by : her great grandchildren, Chelsey and Morgan; her sister Betty Gray; and her children, Cheryl Watts (Mark) of Tomball, Kathy Lumpkin (Steve) of Cypress, Karen Carlson of Deer Park, John Carlson of Katy, Daryl Beeson of Palestine and Alan Beeson of Conroe, Texas. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, and thirteen great-great grandchildren.
