Floyd left this world on October 3, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kathyrn Cox Hand and Floyd N Hand. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Debaillon of Montgomery; his daughters, Michaele Campos (Eli), Wendy Hand and Nicole Southwell (Mark); his grandchildren, Madison Hilliard and Ty Southwell; and his sisters, Beverly Haygood, Renee McClay (Michael), Peggy Bingham (Michael Bingham) and Tracy Hand (Khai). He is also survived by relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Metcalf Funeral Directors Chapel (1801 E White Oak Terrace, Conroe, TX 77304). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Houston National Cemetery (10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038).

In lieu of flowers, donations to Montgomery County Women's shelter would be most appreciated.
