He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Miller Alewine and Opal Minniebell Jones; his wife Barbara Ann Alewine; his son Roland Frank Alewine; his sister Dixie Conrath; and his grandson Alexander Wayne Missildine.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl Dee Hunter of Victoria, TX and Jodi Lynn Missildine (Michael) of Neches, TX; his sisters, Virginia K. Green of Rockport, TX and Allean E. Johnson of Navasota, TX; his grandchildren, Joshua Hunter, Bryon Crawford, Sarah Boysel, Amanda Missildine and Tara Whittenburg; and his great grandchildren, Shiloh Ivey, Alayna Lee and Jackson Missildine.
