She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Jordan Mormon and Guy Franklin Mormon; her husband Milton Emmick; and her daughter Lynn Bing. She is survived by: her daughter Kenda Bing Daniel; her son-in-law Timothy Daniel of Austin, Texas; her grandson Jonah Baumgarten of Tomball, Texas; and her pet Leo. She is also survived by numerous cousins, extended family members, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association and Bayou City Hospice.
