He was predeceased by: his parents, Olga Spaulding and Jack Spaulding; and his sister Gloria Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Kelly (Jason), Jeffrey (Kelsey) and Kimberly (Chris); and his grandchildren, Kate, Tom, Jade, Jack, Bree, Bryce and Luke.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Canopy Cancer Survivorship Center at Memorial Hermann, or the Houston Area Parkinsons Society.
