She was predeceased by: her parents, Era Exa Watson and Carson Overton Nuckols; her husband Lewis Williams; her daughter Brenda Vowels; her grandson Shawn Michael Vowels; and her brother Bob Nuckols.
She is survived by: her children, Jan Williams and Bryan Williams (Pippa); her son-in-law David Vowels; and her grandchildren, Jordan, Victoria, Madeline, Max and Abby. She is also survived by many cousins and nieces.
In lieu of flowers the family asks tributes to go to West Conroe Baptist Church Building Fund or M.D. Anderson Cancer Research.
