He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jones Walker and Mary Etta Brady; and his siblings, William Jones Walker, Jr. and Mary Ann Walker Ferrell. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Rita Wenner; his children, James Robert Walker, Jr., Jennifer Robyn Walker, Jay Ronald Walker and Tammy Marie Walker; and his grandchildren, Dusty Randolph Wright, Marshall Adam Walker, Rachel Miranda Walker, Jason David Hughes, Jr., Michael John Massarella, Jay Cash Walker and Shane Lee Walker. He is also survived by great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Ministry of Hope International.
