Jean Umbehr Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on October 28, 2022, at the age of 89, Jean Umbehr (Conroe, Texas), born in Stafford, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pete Bartlett and Reba May Bartlett; her husband Jim Umbehr; and her brothers, Larry Bartlett and Jerry Bartlett (Pat Bartlett).
She is survived by: her children, Kihm Blount, Keen Umbehr (Eileen) and Kevin Umbehr (Falethesa); and her grandchildren, Jared Umbehr, Josh (Lisa Umbehr), Nicole Rice, Valorie Wheeler (Josh), Jessica Houston (Aaron), Keen A. Umbehr II (Tiffany), Daniel Umbehr, Rebecca Wilson (Josh) and Kirk Umbehr (Amanda). She is also survived by her 14 great-grandchildren.
She made quilts that were individualized works of art for friends, for family and for charity. As a ministry, she routinely donated her hand-made baby quilts to the Conroe Hospital, for new mothers in need.
