He was predeceased by: his parents, Donna Sue and John Pate; his mothers-in-law, Diana Lynn Kuehl and Trish Kelly; his aunt Barbara Wuthrich; and his close friends, Dr Edward Perez and Brent Stone.
He is survived by: his wife Denise; his daughter Diana Sue; his parents-in-law, Robin Huse (Vince), Tim Kuehl (Cathie) and David Kelly; his siblings-in-law, Nancy Rodriguez (Cim), Arnette Grabowski (Charlie), Robin Wiginton (Ryan), Jenny Gonzalez and Billy Brown (Kelly); his nieces, Ava, Mia, Ella Gonzalez, Rhayana Hammons (Ashton) and Sarah Killian (Tyler); his nephew Justin Pate (Heather Johnson); his sister Lisa Pate; and his close friend Tim Harp (Becca).
