He was predeceased by: his parents, E. W. Saunders and Dannie Mae Findley Saunders. He is survived by: his wife Sue Cuniff Saunders of Conroe; his sons, Scott Taylor Saunders (Lisa) of Plano, Sean Michael Saunders of Houston and Stephen Payne Saunders (Michelle) of The Woodlands; his sister Patricia Saunders Whitman (Bill) of Spurger; and his grandchildren, Ryan Patrick Saunders, Johnathan Dallas Saunders and Carter James Saunders. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
