He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Goodrum and Nettie Goodrum; his siblings, Elroy, Eunice and Eula Mae; and his daughter-in-law Diana.
He is survived by: his wife Billie; his children, Edward (Cindy), David (Annie), Terrie (David) and Roy; his grandchildren, Will, Daniel, Michael, David, Derrick, Stacey, Jason, Jessica and Nicole; and his sisters, Linda Dunaway and Shirley Madruga.
