She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Payne and Winnie Payne (Neyland); her husband Roy Simpson; her son Keith Smith; and her grandson Donald "Bubba" Smith.
She is survived by: her daughter Vicki Fuller (David) of Montgomery; her brother Don Payne of Old Bowling; her grandchildren, Amanda Wills (Michael), Shelly Smyth (Kevin) and Lori Kelley (Britt); and her great grandchildren, Andrew, Haleigh Wills, McKenna Cameron, Kaili, Claire Smyth, Jenna and Britton Kelley. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
