He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Cooper Durst and Opal Annette Durst (Cook); his brother John Cook Durst; and his sister-in-law Cynthia Christy Durst. He is survived by: his wife Lillie Lay; his sons, John Andrew Durst and David Julian Durst (Amanda); his grandson William Henry Durst; and his brother Dr. John Wakefield Durst. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
