He was predeceased by: his brother Mitchell Griffin. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Doodle"; his parents, Nathan Griffin and Donnie Griffin; and his daughters, Ashley, Failey and Jennifer. He is also survived by one son, Buddy, five grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

“To the Family of Mark Griffin, I was so very sorry to hear of the passing of Mark. I met him in 1986 in Phoenix, AZ. I worked for Honeywell and he came in as a Honeywell customer. We became very good friends for several years then unfortunately life happened and we lost contact. He was a very nice, patient, kind and understanding person. He will be greatly missed on this planet Earth. He told me all about his very young daughter Failey. I'm sure she is all grown up by now. Cindy (Gray) Seagren”
