He was predeceased by: his brother Lord; his parents, Lawrence Schilhab and Virginia Schilhab; his brothers, Dickie, Tim, Jeff and Larry Schilhab; his siblings-in-law, Claire Schilhab (Dickie), Bill Kahn and Kelly Lockett; his parents-in-law, Paul and Jo Lockett; his nephews, Chase Howden and Zachary Kahn; and his daughter Jo Lockett.
He is survived by: his wife Paula Lockett; his children, Grant Schilhab (Katherine) and Blair Ellis (Rocky); his grandchildren, Brooklynn, Wesson, Andrew, River and Scout Michael Ellis; his siblings, Patrick Schilhab, Robbie Schilhab (Connie), Darlene Howden (Jimmy), Peggy Deering (Mike) and Nancy Moore (Steve); his siblings-in-law, Rebel Lockett (Lezlie), Clarice Lockett (Jim), Linda Schilhab (Larry) and Vicky Schilhab (Tim); and his daughter Paula SchilhabWife. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
