He is survived by: his wife Julie Medved; his children, Mallory O'Dell (Cody), Michael Medved Jr. (Amanda) and Malynn Barnett (Kameron); his grandchildren, Jack, Charlie O'Dell, Kolby, Boston Barnett and Collyn Barnett; his parents, Michael Medved and Lorraine Medved; his sisters, Sherrie Medved (Kevin), Laurie Lyall (Evan), Karen Carrothers (Kyle) and Jennifer Breier (Carl); his mother-in-law Frankie Strasburger; his sister-in-law Lisa Spinks (Mike); and his siblings' children, Evan Sawyer (LaDonna), Brice Sawyer (Jess), Carly Francek (Cameron), Alex Lyall (Rachael), Kylie Wilkin (Brendan), Keaton Carrothers and Miller Breier.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Community Assistance Center of Conroe at 1022 McCall Ave, Conroe, TX 77301, as well as, Texas Lions Camp through Conroe Noon Lions Club.
