She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Buddy" Lawrence Minter and Mary Josephine Baker; her parents-in-law, Katherine Jane Helms and Buford Russell Edgmon; and her extended family, Ronnie Arnold, Bob Freund and Steve Edgmon.

She is survived by: her husband John William Edgmon; her sisters, Mary Arnold, Wendy Freund, Joanne Edgmon and Becky Allen (Gene Allen); her children, Kathy Edgmon, Sharon Ray, James (Ashley Edgmon), Geoff (Brandi Mudge) and John Wayne (Jaimi Edgmon); her grandchildren, Parker Ray, Duncan Ray, William Edgmon and Hudson Edgmon; and her pet Copper.
