He was predeceased by : his father Luis Leyva. He is survived by : his mother Erlinda Matos-Suarez of Albuquerque; his wife Terrin Marie of Conroe; his daughters, Destiny Elena, Taysha Raquel and Isabela Marie; his brother Wilmer Leyva Matos of Albuquerque; his parents-in-law, Rick and Shawn Kollar of Conroe; his brother-in-law Dustin Kollar (Kristen); his nephews, Andrew of Albuquerque, Erik of Albuquerque, Tucker of Albuquerque and Tanner Kollar of Albuquerque; his sister-in-law Stefanie Kollar; his nephew Jeremiah Cordova of Albuquerque; his close friends, Jennifer, Jerry Heckwine of Albuquerque, Sarah, Jeff Mulder of Reno, NV, Sam, Richard Hines of Albuquerque and Jamie Santi of Albuquerque; and his nieces and nephews, Alexis, Abigail, Kaleb, Kayla (Jennifer), Eden (Sarah), Kylie, Kaden, Elijah (Sam), Jasmin, Jacob (Jamie) and Ogler. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations for the ongoing medical treatments and expenses for Ogler's daughter Isabela Marie.
