She was predeceased by: her parents, George Shaper and Zella Shaper; her son John Allen Gandy; her brother Reginald Shaper (Diane); her father-in-law John Bunyon Gandy, Sr. (Jackie Nolan Gandy); her brother-in-law Ralph Gandy; and her son-in-law Christopher Scott Paris.

She is survived by: her husband John Bunyon Gandy, Jr.; her daughter Jaycie Ann Gandy Paris; her siblings-in-law, Larry Gandy, Lana Benton and Linda Silkey; her sister Rebeka Jane Edwards (David); her nieces, Kristi Fowler (Mark) and Amy Boothe (Lawson); her grandsons, Christopher John Paris (Christi) and Jarrod Allen Paris (Adrian); and her great grandchildren, Christopher Parker Paris, Patricia Lois Paris and June Lily Paris.
