He is survived by: his wife Margaret Smith; his children, Doug Smith, Jr., Brad Smith and Shannon Marie Tatum (Scott); and his sisters, Denise Strybos, Donna Kay Wells (Gary), Terry Fontenot (Mike) and Sherry Kozel (Ben). He is also survived by numerous other grandchildren and great grandchildren.
