He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernice Story and Irene Walker Story; and his stepmother Doris Story Pope. He is survived by: his daughters, Shana Nagel (Edward) of Leander, Texas, Allison Story of Austin, Texas and Shelby Brown (Chancelar) of Lubbock, Texas.; his brothers, Larry Story (Kim) of Mexia, Texas, Dale Story (Donna) of Huntsville, Texas and Daniel Story of Sour Lake, Texas; his stepbrothers, Mike Chaney (Pam), Jeff Chaney (Brenda) and Mark Chaney (Laurie); his uncle Joe Homer Holmes of Jewett, Texas.; and his pet Maggie. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of friends.
