He was predeceased by: his parents, Allie Short, and William Short, 3rd; and his son Stephen. He is survived by: his wife Sally of Scarsdale, NY.; his daughters, Kathryn Short and Allison Short Hickman; his son-in-law Dan; his grandchildren, Abby and Andrew; and his sister Mavis.
