He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward Harper and Pearl Joanna Stone Harper; his wife Dorothy Louise Carver Harper; his daughter-in-law Rose Marie Harper; and his sisters, Myrle, Miriam, Margie and Mildred.
He is survived by: his son James Ray Harper; his nieces, Linda Hafley and Diane Vinson; and his nephew Mickey White. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
