He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvia Viola (Noey) and Herbert Ray Bishop; his former wife Leona Bishop; the mother of his children Leona Bishop; his grandson Dylan Potter; his nephew Steven Smith; and his siblings-in-law, Sharron Smith and Charles Willingham.

He is survived by: his daughters, Rhonda Frank (John), Stefyne Zett (Derrick) and Christina Aetonu; his grandchildren, Chase Barnaba, Justina Frank Arenstein, Clayton Barnaba, Cole Frank, Cameron Potter and Chance Aetonu; his great grandchildren, Pecas Barnaba, Phoenix Barnaba, Valen Arenstein, Vance Arenstein and Beaux Barnaba; and his siblings, Kenneth Smith, Mildred Willingham, Debbie Bishop and Carolyn Parker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Foundation in honor of Raymond Ted Bishop.
