He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence L. Lyons and Roselyn E. Lyons; and his siblings, Clarence Leonard Lyons III and Elizabeth Suzanne Lyons. He is survived by: his children, Brandy Runia Lyons and Richard E. Lyons Jr. (Brandy); his grandchildren, Corey Lyons, Kelsey Lyons (Jeff Simpson), Brandon Skero, Colton Skero, Kyley Lyons and Kaley Lyons; and his brothers, Charlie Lyons (Rose) and John Lyons (Waynette). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
