He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Smith and Ada Lee Smith; his wife Jerrie; and his children, Lynn Perkins (Virginia), Larry Perkins (Joyce), Lisle Perkins (Deborah), Rick Smith (Karoline), Ronnie Smith (Angie), Randy Smith (Jennifer), Rhonda Perkins and Leslie. He was also cherished by 24 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
