He is survived by: his wife Sherrie McPherson Ponto; his sons, Robert William Ponto, Jr. (Kristine), Michael Augustus Ponto (Sue), Sean Timothy McAlister (Stephanie) and Troy Jackson McAlister (Courtney); and his grandchildren, Timothy Ponto, Victoria Ponto, Ryan Smolik, Kelly Smolik, Samantha Ponto, Valerie Ponto, Ashley Ponto, Jordan McAlister, Katelyn McAlister, Ryan McAlister and Jackson McAlister. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
