She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband William E. Yancey; her children, Gordon, Frank, Ruth Sockwell, Brenda Knuckles (John), Andrea Benson (Rashidi) and Angela Henson (Victor); and her siblings, Vance King (Julie), Larry King (Henrietta), Carolyn Pickett (Norman) and Bonnie Gilmore.
