He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Patrick Hymel Sr. and Evelyn Geraldine Hymel; his grandparents, Joseph Leonie Hymel, Angelina Rodriguez, Samuel Leslie Whitaker and Agnes A. Pentacost; and his siblings, Norman Dee Hymel, Robert Louis Hymel, Norma Rae Hymel, Shirley Hymel and Dorothy Hymel.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Hymel; his sons, Sidney Frank Hymel Jr. (Myra Hymel) of Fort Collins, Colorado, Mark A. Marshall (Jessica Lopez) of Austin Texas and Brandon Davis (Christina Davis) of Wortham, Texas; his granddaughters, Brylee A. Hymel and Peighton McGee; and his siblings, Samuel J. Hymel, Priscilla Roe, Enora Murphy and Frances Payne. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
