We announce the death of Thomas Edward Byer in Conroe, Texas, born in Marlin, Texas, who passed away on September 9, 2026, at the age of 83. Thomas will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fritz Charlie and Minnie Lee Byer (Pomykal); and his siblings, John Byer, Fritz C. Byer Jr., Lester Byer, Sam Byer, Mary Frances Bandy (Byer) and Lillian Thompson (Byer).
He is survived by: his wife Wendy Byer; his children, Michael (Jennifer), Dax (Rhonda) and Kelli Byer; his grandchildren, Carly (Seth), Candice and Kolby; and his sister Ollie Stubbs (Byer). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Rivershire Club House (206 Scarborough Dr, Conroe, TX 77304).
