He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas D. Cain and Jewell Cain; his wife Frances Cain; his daughter Kathy Ellis; and his children-in-law, Roberta Cain and Carl Klander.
He is survived by: his children, Tracy Klander, Jerry Alan Cain and Sally Dunn (Trey); his grandchildren, Jacob Klander (Melanie), Kristen McCleskey, Sara Klander, Ryan Powell (Ashley), Justin Powell (Eunice), Shelbi Dunn, Megan Tellez (Lane), Rachael Fullen (Chris) and Denise Anderson (Clay); his sister Barbara Collins (Curtis); his sisters-in-law, Alice Sims and Julia Sikes; and his son-in-law Don Ellis. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask donations to be made to the Liver Foundation and/or the Alzheimer's foundation.
