He is survived by: his wife Doris Hickman; his children, Traci (Charlie Pyle) of Brenham and Chris (Amy Hickman) of The Woodlands; his stepchildren, Kathy (Gregg Blatt) of Flower Mound and Mark (Rachel Terpstra) of Hockley; his grandchildren, Perri, Paige, Jacob, Julianna Pyle, Jordan, Reese Hickman, Lauren, Reid Boyer, Brekke, Banks and Brandt Terpstra; and his siblings, Alesia (Jerry Bryant) of Laverne and Clayton Spears of Amarillo.

Due to COVID, seating may be limited and there will be no reception.

“Just read the full obit and it reminded me of the campy skit which a cast of LCARW players, including myself and Wayne, performed during the Clinton administration. The title was "Live from under the White House desk". Afterwards one guest chastised us for the adult and irreverent humor. Apparently they didn't read the program clearly. Wayne laughed them off as did we all. Will always remember him as a straight shooter. Sympathies to Doris and family. Suzanne Hixson”
