We announce the death of William Eugene Walker Sr. (Conroe, Texas), who passed away on October 2, 2026, at the age of 81. William will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his son Billy Walker; his brother Henry Walker; and his parents, Bill Walker and Susie Woolsey. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his daughters, Kathy and Karen; his grandson Dakota Walker (Kenzie); his great grandchild Easton; his granddaughter Zoey Walker (Trenton Cress); Tim, Danielle Potts (Drew), Olivia, Madeline, Colin, Shannon McGowan (Matt), Jack, James, TJ McGriff, Harper, Riley and Daniel. He is also survived by his six sisters and their spouses; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cashner Funeral Home (801 Teas Rd, Conroe, TX 77303). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cashner Colonial Hall (801 Teas Rd, Conroe, TX 77303). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Garden Park Cemetery (801 Teas Rd, Conroe, TX 77303).
