It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie Mae Story in Conroe, Texas, born in Austin, Texas, who passed away on January 19, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Clayton Story Sr.; her children, Clayton Story Jr. and Nettie Fox; her grandchildren, Benjamin Story, Roy Kirchner Jr. and Suzy Mae Davis; her great grandchild Gavin Story; and her brothers, Bobby Dixon and Calvin Dixon.
She is survived by: her children, Diana Friend (Willard), Gaylene Gidley (Tom), Joy Wright (Johnny), Martin Story (Kathy), Susan Davis, Alan Story, Linda Slattery and Dave Thier. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 59 great grandchildren; 14 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
