Carolyn Jo Duffy Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Jo Duffy of Converse, Texas, who passed away on October 3, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Lou Gum and Bill Dickey; her daughter Erin Wood; her nephew Patrick Duffy; and her brother-in-law Ron Duffy.
She is survived by: her husband James Duffy (Tom); her son Tim Duffy (Colleen); her grandson Bradley Wood; her stepgranddaughter Jennifer Duffy; and her siblings-in-law, Mike Duffy (Alma), Lena Duffy and Pat Rogers (Junie).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home (625 Kitty Hawk Rd, Universal City, TX 78148). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 9:15 AM to 10:00 AM at the Randolph Afb Chapel. A committal service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:35 AM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
