It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jerome Real of Converse, Texas, who passed away on October 4, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustav Real and Margaret Schuwirth Real; his daughter Mary Beth Real; and his siblings, Ralph Real (Dora Lee), Leroy Real (Nelda), Raymond Real and Irene Walls (Bill).
He is survived by: his wife Florence Real; his children, Penny Hudek (Nick), Darrin Real (Heather) and Daryl Real (Debbie); his grandchildren, Nick Hudek III (Katie), Ryan Hudek (Lauren), Kyle Hudek (Tabitha), Ian Real, Ava Real, Lane Real, Dylan Real (Kylee) and Josh Real; his great grandchildren, Tristan, Brooklyn, Brady, Blake and Collins; his brother Wallace Real (Joyce); and his sister-in-law Florence Real. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the BVM Catholic Church (14011 FM 1346, St Hedwig, TX 78152). A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church (14011 FM 1346, St Hedwig, TX 78152).
