It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ima Jean Owen of Cooper, Texas, born in Roosevelt, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 16, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Arthur Fagan and Anna Fagan (Palmertree); her granddaughter Cynthia Barnett (Cotton); her great grandchild Natalie Jean Withiam; and her siblings, John Thomas Fagan, Bobby Fagan, Ruth Miller and JoAnn O'Neal.

She is survived by : her children, Larry Bates (Beatrice) of Rogers, Thomas Bates (Janna) of Walberg, Barbara Witham (Phillip) of Rockwall and Mary Shimer of Pottsboro. She is also survived by Twelve grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, numerous great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces, and nephews.
