He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Whitman Deatherage and Ruby Agnes Deatherage (Roderick); his sister Peggy Ann Sandlin; his daughter Jackie Taylor; and his granddaughter Erica Lee White.
He is survived by: his children, Carl Mark Deatherage of Cooper and Sherri Renee Green of Sugar Land; his grandchildren, James Thomas White, James Roderick Green of Sugar Land, Jack Deatherage of Cooper, Clayton Deatherage (Elizabeth) of Klondike, Carrie Ann Garvey of Sachse and Monica Lee George (Jason) of Austin; and his brother Ronnie Deatherage (Kathy) of Rockwall. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren, two step great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
