He was predeceased by : his parents, Weldon L. Scott and Helen Ruth Beckham Scott. He is survived by : his wife Dana Scott of Cooper, Texas; his children, Wesley D. Scott (Amanda) of Charleston, Texas and Katlyn C. Scott of Longview, Texas; and his grandchildren, Emily Scott, Lilly Scott, Cody Scott and Avery Scott. He is also survived by sister in laws, brother in laws and cousins.
