With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Travis Gene Booth of Cooper, Texas, who passed away on July 30, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Travis may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his father Ben D.; his wife Pearl Booth (George); and his sister Thelma Foster. He is survived by: his children, David Booth (Renee) of Cooper, DeeAnn Edwards of Cooper and Gene Booth (Kim) of Deport. He is also survived by five grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and one great- great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Delta Funeral Home (451 SW 1st St, Cooper, TX 75432). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oaklawn Cemetery.
