He was predeceased by: his parents, Hervey Edward Staten and Lorraine Mae Staten; his stepmother Mabel Carver; his siblings, Betty (Tony Mohesky), Karen (Floyd Steiner), Donna (Kenneth Barbee) and Gerald Staten (Jan); his nephews, Dennis Craig Mohesky and Michael Dean Mohesky (Randy); and his niece Toni Lynn Mohesky-Conklin.
He is survived by: his wife Laurie; his daughter Lauren (James Cooper); and his grandson Lyle. He is also survived by family members and friends.
