He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo; his children, Martin John of Grand Prairie, Michael George of Richardson and Susan Marie Buchanan of Highland Village; his grandchildren, Allison Marie Arant (Dakota) of Lubbock and Ryan Matthew Buchanan (Katie) of Jacksonville, NC.; his great grandchildren, Harper Grace Arant and Madilyn Margaret Buchanan; and his siblings, Virgene, Carolyn, Pat, Kathleen, Shirley (Gordon), Sandra, Judy (Gary) and Jim (Mary Kay). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial mass intentions be offered in Marty's name at any Catholic Church.
