With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon Wallace Wimberly of Coppell, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 25, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Sharon may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her husband Claude Warren Wimberly of San Antonio; her parents, Rufus Catherine and Mary Catherine; and her uncle Dr. Herbert Neal Harkleroad. She is survived by: her children, Travis Wimberly (Glenda Garcia) of Austin, Texas and Tessa Duke (Michael) of Argyle, Texas; her brother Rufus Leon Wallace Jr. (Brooke) of Waco, Texas; and her grandsons, Allister Wimberly and Miles Wimberly. She is also survived by four stepgrandchildren, six step-great-grandchildren, and numerous wonderful aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
