He is survived by: his children, Randall Scott Howdeshell and Lori Alice Smith; his grandchildren, Patrick Howdeshell, Jennifer Howdeshell and Alex Arnold; and his sister Linda Petralia Larson. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
